Now you might be thinking, she's back with another Disney post? And yes, you would be correct.

It is fair to say that I talk about the rides, the experience, pretty much all of it every. single. day and I thought it would be more useful for me to share some of my top tips and tricks to make your once in a lifetime trip the best it could be.

{I will be uploading more posts of how to make the most out of your trip so stay tuned}. I have also previously uploaded a Port Orleans Riverside Review as well so check that out here!

I thought, being a massive foodie myself, it was only right, to begin with sharing my top Disney World restaurants in EPCOT. If you, like me, have been very lucky and privileged to visit Disney World more than once, then you will understand that straight away you find your favourite places to eat. Every time we go back we seem to always make reservations at the same places. Some of these choices may come of a surprise to some people but I have specifically chosen these restaurants because of the memories that I have made there.

Garden Grill

Garden Grill is home to Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Harvest Feast, a family-style character meal in Epcot’s Land pavilion. This restaurant is one of the only places where you will find Mickey Mouse in EPCOT and certainly, the only place that you will find Pluto, Chip and Dale all together. And if you hadn't have guessed already, this is a character dining experience.

There is the option of having breakfast, lunch and dinner here but we have always opted for breakfast!

The breakfast food that you get is served on platters and is basically an all you can eat family feast. They honestly bring out SO MUCH FOOD and you can ask for more at no extra cost. The breakfast features all sorts of traditional fare including scrambled eggs, bacon, Mickey waffles, maple syrup, sausages, fruit and a gigantic cinnamon bun.

Another great thing about this restaurant is that it actually overlooks Living with the Land and rotates around the ride. The ride isn't particularly visible down below as it is covered by trees but you can see the farmhouse and forest scene at some parts. Now don't be put off, it literally takes 1 full hour to make 1 rotation and you can barely notice it's even moving.

Last but not least, I need to mention the character interaction. It was probably one of the best character meet and greets I have ever done (whilst dining). The characters spend so much time with you and sometimes even sit down at the table and eat with you. We even had some of the characters over to our table twice, which we all know rarely happens.

We were on the Disney Dining Plan and it cost us 1 Disney Dining Plan credit per person. If you were to pay for this in dollars it ranges from $35- $59.99 per person.

The food here is some of the best breakfast food I have had in the parks. Definitely Give Garden Grill a try!

San Angel Inn Restaurante

A particularly special restaurant to me is the San Angel Inn Restaurante located in the heart of the Mexico Pavilion. I don't know what it is but I honestly feel at home here. Is that why when you arrive at Disney they say 'Welcome Home'?

The experience alone is worth it for me, the food just tops it off.

Centred inside a man-made Mayan temple, the San Angel Inn is a romantic restaurant that takes you straight into a starry night in Mexico. Basically, 90% of the Mexico pavilion is in the temple so make sure you head inside otherwise you will miss most of the Mexican experience. Once inside the pyramid, you’ll step into a town square, where a fiesta is being held under a twilight sky.

The restaurant is centred right in the middle of the temple overlooking the riverside, where boats from the Gran Fiesta Tour float by. You heard me correctly, you can actually take a boat ride inside the pyramid (I'm already won over). Although the restaurant is in inside, the landscaping and lighting really do give the illusion that you are dining outside. Our family always dines here in the evening to make the twilight sky even more realistic.

The food here is the real deal and you won't find anything like crispy tacos, bright orange nacho dip. Instead, you can find dishes like Mole Poblano, Tostadas de Tinga, Quesadillas Rebozadas, and Tlacoyos de Chilorio. What I can only imagine as real Mexican food.

We have dined in this restaurant a handful of times and have never had a bad word to say. I love the food (especially the mole!), the drinks (San Angel Inn Margarita), the staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is lively and welcoming.

Much like the Garden Grill, this dining is 1 Disney Dining Plan credit per person.

If you’re looking for a convenient and moderately priced place to eat, the San Angel Inn could be a good choice. You will have the opportunity to not only dine there but ride, shop and explore as well.

Teppan Edo

Teppan Edo is located in the Japan Pavilion in the World Showcase at Epcot. Your food is served with a side of entertainment by the Teppanedo chefs which really enhances the atmosphere. Every seat has an excellent view of each chef cooking genuine Japanese cuisine, it is a really interesting dining experience.

{Do note that if you are a smaller party you are likely to be sat on a table with another family to make up the numbers on the table. We were lucky when we dined as we were sat with an Amerian family who were very sweet and interactive.}

Everyone is firstly served a small side garden salad to begin and then you choose what you would like the chef to prepare. There is the option of chicken, steak, seafood and tofu, so there is plenty of choices. These are all served with udon noodles, vegetables and steamed white rice. Whilst you wait for your food to be prepared, you can sit back and watch the chefs. The interaction between our chef and the table was excellent throughout.

The portion sizes are very big and they always have spare food remaining if you do have a big appetite.

If you are on the dining plan I would recommend either choosing the seafood or the steak to get the bang for your buck. Again, this service cost us 1 Disney Dining Plan credit per person.

I would really recommend this restaurant to anyone who hasn't eaten here before and to those who are travelling in large groups who are looking for entertainment and a good show. You are really paying for the experience but I do think it is worth the time and money. The restaurant can get a little noisy at peak hours (before and after the fireworks), but otherwise, it is a place that we will definitely be returning to.

All dining reservations open 180 days before check-in for Disney guests so make sure that you don't delay your booking. Get planning now!
